What this title and description check measures
This checker reviews text that you enter. It measures characters and evaluates practical publishing checks such as whether the title communicates a clear topic, whether the description explains the video early, and whether important information is missing. It does not access private YouTube Studio data and it cannot predict rankings, views, or click-through rate.
Use the result as an editing checklist
- Paste the exact title and description you plan to publish.
- Review each warning separately instead of chasing a perfect score.
- Rewrite unclear wording for the viewer first, then run the check again.
Example
A title such as βMy New Videoβ gives little context. βHow to Add YouTube Chapters: 5-Minute Tutorialβ tells viewers the task, platform, and format. A useful opening description can summarize the outcome, identify prerequisites, and then provide chapters or sources. Repeating keywords unnaturally is not an improvement.
Limitations
The score is a TubeRank editing heuristic, not a YouTube metric or ranking factor. Audience satisfaction, thumbnail appeal, topic demand, watch behavior, and competition are not available from pasted text alone. Final wording should accurately represent the video and avoid promises the content does not deliver.
